You have called me (poems of admonition, By Daisy McLean) Summer 2022

You have called me out of the wilderness…

I have begun to hate my sinful ways…

You have called me out of the darkness…

I no longer want to live in bitterness…

You have called me out of boundaries…

I no longer want to speak abomination…

You have called me out of sin…

I want to know you more,

I want to hear you more,

I want to dwell in your presence,

I want to serve you in all your deeds,

I want to obey you and honour you,

I want to love you for all you have done,

I want to be fulfilled in your word,

I want your will for my life to be done in me.

Thank You, my Father and Maker, for Your love and mercy.

Thank You because You have never given up on me and you never will.

Thank You, Father for Jesus, and for the Good News He brought to my life and soul.

A message full of love and mercy that equip me to follow Jesus, to do Your will of love and mercy before sacrifice. A message that overall encourages me also to total honesty and humbleness before You Father. Well, it is clear to me that nothing, absolutely nothing I can do without the strength You have sent me in and through Jesus my Redeemer.

But then that same message tells me that though there is nothing I can do to do good on my own, there is something indispensable I need to do to be full of the power to do good. I have tasted the bitterness of my sinful ways, and I know understand that I am not designed to live and die in sin. I have felt the pain of death because of my sins, which has put me to weep and seek God’s face and cry out for a change through the sacred act of repentance. Thank You for the gift of repentance. Therefore, I must declare that I have sin and I have not delighted the pain of the consequences of my sins, and therefore, I repent and cry out for help and strength to over come my sinful ways. Jesus, just as you say when You were here on earth, and just as the Holy Scriptures teaches us, You are my only way out of the boundaries of sin. You and only You can bring me back to life in Our Father and Maker, from the wilderness. I am tired of my sinful ways, and I no longer want to live in this pain and agony. Therefore, I accept You Jesus, as my personal Lord and Saviour. And I nothing can do; I cannot know the Father’s will for my life from my fleshly condition. In my flesh I am blind, deft, ignorant, and hard like a stone in my heart. I need you Jesus to show me the ways of the Father, teach me to follow You. You are my only way to Our Father in Heaven.

Thank you, God, for Jesus, for Your love and for the Holy Spirit that You have sent us through Jesus the Saviour Divine. Thank You for Your saving grace for my salvation in Jesus. In Jesus Holy Name. Amen
