Our world today: Money traps everywhere...

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also (Matthew 6:21).

Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless (Ecclesiastes 5:10).

Better the little that the righteous have than the wealth of many wicked; for the power of the wicked will be broken, but the LORD upholds the righteous (Psalms 37:16-17).
Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow (Proverbs 13:11).
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5).
Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me” (Matthew 19:21).
No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money (Matthew 6:24).
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs (1 Timothy 6:10).
And the list of facts in the Holy Scriptures goes on en on...
We living in a world where the love for money has become first priority.
Very sad truth...
Dear God, have mercy on us...
Dear Jesus, give us a heart of love to God...
In Jesus Holy Name!
Amen.
